How To Save Money: The Wrong Way
There are good ways and bad ways to save money. Ultimately this came about because this year I managed to save up a buttload of money and then I realized why it happened: I didn’t have anyone to spend it on! Strange right? Not having a girlfriend or dating that much, or even going out all that much ended up with my bank accounts blowing up out of control. BUT, I definitely do NOT recommend this. It’s kind of wack when you think about it and is making me feel WEIRD!
Here’s a better way to save money: each paycheck, drop a couple hundred into a separate bank account that you don’t have readily available access to. I don’t do this personally, but I know at least TWO people who do this and dig it.
Another way to save some money is to drive less… maybe try riding your bike to work (I do this sometimes [edit: when it's a little cold for me to be doing this now, but I have done it in the past]).
Finally, another way to save money is to simply not spend it on ridiculous stuff. For those of you who know me, you know that I spend a ton of money on random weird things that no one in their right mind needs (or even wants for the most part).
Bottom line with this post: Don’t be like me. Save money the right way.

I agree Charles. Having a significant other does really drain your bank account. That’s why I spend a few grand on myself shortly after being with “the Liz”. I thought I’m gonna spend this on myself before I do anything stupid. Now I like paycheck-to-paycheck, but I have a pretty sweet motorcycle to show for it.
Keep up the good work. I enjoy visiting your website. You did a great job on this thing!!!!!!
