First of all, I am not a writer (hense the amazing amount of spelling errors and bad grammar in my posts), but I do have opinions about things… which I express here.
The FTC has put out a new policy stating that ANY AND ALL blogs that have affiliate links or paid advertisements of any description (including PPP or other advertising models), MUST disclose to the readers that they are doing so. Also, often times Advertisers will pay for a review or send a product over for free for a review. These will periodically appear on this blog. We will also state so in the post so there is absolutely no confusion.
Not sure what an affiliate link is? It’s a link that tracks clicks to give me a ‘referal fee’ for sending any sales to any particular merchant. For example, if I’m writing about a movie I just watched, I might throw in a link to buy it from Amazon for $5 off. It brings value to the reader of my blog (you!) and also gives me a small kick back to enjoy for sending the sale to Amazon… a true win-win situation.
So there you go… I am officially disclosed! :0
